Avenue is the modern answer to a blend of the Parisian brasserie and the luxurious beaches of St Tropez on the Atlantic beachfront. It has brought Savoir-vivre to the Jersey Shore with it’s dramatic high ceilings, classic brasserie banquettes in an oceanic palette, pearl colored marble tiles that shimmer under the light and 25-foot bar, inspired by the hull of a ship. During the day bask in the sun pouring in from the floor to ceiling windows while relishing in the personal attention of the servers catering to every need. After the sun goes down the fireplace is a focal point of a lavish lounge at one end of the 5000-square foot space that keeps patrons satisfied in its warm glow. The floodlights turn on in the evening illuminating the surf and sand creating an environment of relaxation. Avenue patrons can order bistro favorites such as Steak Frites, a Yellow Fin Tuna Niçoise and Steak Au Poivre as well ads tiered platters of Oysters, King Crab Legs, Shrimp and Lobster from the open raw bar which is a kitchen in itself. Chef Dominique Filoni oversees the Avenue kitchen which serves lunch and dinner throughout the week as well as brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. Avenue offers an international wine list of over 200 bottles from the vibrant offerings of California vineyards to the lush growths of Bordeaux.
