City House is a Germantown mainstay recognized for its Southern-flecked Italian dishes, like pizza topped with turnip greens, fonduta, potato, and garlic, and smoked chicken sugo with grits “al forno,” ricotta, and kale. The chef is Tandy Wilson, a James-Beard winner who’s both creative and consistent. City House is a tried-and-true Nashville staple and has been since 2007.
