Inspired by the downtown artistic community that has embodied the East Village since the 19th Century, Brasserie Saint Marc is located at 136 Second Avenue. The artfully-designed brasserie, which features the works of local New York artists, offers iconic dishes with a modern twist and locally-sourced ingredients, with a focus on simplicity, seasonality, sustainability, and provenance. Executive Chef Frederick Piccarello serves French classics such as escargot, duck confit, and onion soup while tipping his hat to the neighborhood’s Eastern European roots with borscht and Varenyky (pierogies), and to vegans with an Impossible Burger.
