  • Description

On January 20, 1973, the late renowned pianist Dolph Traymon and his wife Audrey opened the Fife ‘n Drum Restaurant doors for dinner, and never looked back. In 1982, they subsequently established their Inn and Gift Shop. Today, the Fife ‘n Drum is Kent’s award-winning landmark restaurant. Today, the Traymons, along with daughter Elissa Traymon Potts, continue to maintain their personal commitment to fine food, good music, and attentive hospitality, as they move into their 44th year of operation. The Fife’s Award-winning Wine List is the only restaurant in Litchfield County and 1 of 11 restaurants in the State of Connecticut to be awarded 2017 Best of Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator Magazine. Our seasoned staff makes the Fife ‘n Drum a memorable destination to either grab a quick bite, mark a special occasion or celebrate a romantic evening. We also provide music entertainment for a more intimate experience for our diners and guests.
