Gleaning inspiration from the traditional casual pubs of Japan, known as izakayas, Chef Michael Schulson gives diners the chance to experience a taste of the Far East without having to venture far from the casino floor. Each dish on the menu reflects the time Schulson spent in Japan. Izakaya offers many incredible options, including sushi rolls and signature sashimi crafted from the freshest ingredients; robatayaki, also known as Japanese-style barbecue; and an impressive array of sake. From small plates to a chef’s full-tasting menu, Izakaya is the premiere Japanese restaurant destination in Atlantic City.

It is horrible when a manager ignores the needs of a guest and allows his personal ego to rule over logic, resulting in poor decisions.
We had a 6:30 reservation for 4 on Saturday evening. We were looking forward to eating there, we arrived promptly and ordered our food. The table we were seated at had a broken leg and kept rocking, spilling our drinks. We asked to be moved to an available table for 4 which was near ours. The staff tried but was unable to fix our table. The manager, Matt, said the other table was reserved for an 8:30 seating…1-1/2 hours later! Matt was unprofessional and ignored a simple solution. Rather than help the situation, we argued and then he asked us to leave. I have never, ever been treated like this.
STAY AWAY there are better options where the management actually cares
