Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is a restaurant in Alpharetta, Georgia that specializes in fresh and vibrant dishes that focus on the bounty of the sea. Here, it is all about the seafood. Everything from the decor of sailing ships, nets, and other nautical gear to the menu that is crammed with shrimp, lobster, fish, scallops and crab is a celebration of all things oceanic. As the name implies, a good bit of Pappadeaux’s menu is Cajun-inspired, like the seafood gumbo, giant shrimp and grits, and the spicy crawfish etouffe. That’s not to say it is exclusively dishes straight from the bayou. The grilled Caribbean lobster tail comes straight from the islands, and the Moroccan salmon and shrimp with couscous is a genuinely authentic Mediterranean dish. It’s going to be hard to save room, but the sweet potato pecan pie and vanilla cheesecake shouldn’t be missed.
