Welcome to Republic, the newest addition to Black Restaurant Group. A casual yet refined neighborhood bistro serving a seasonally driven menu in an offbeat, non-conforming setting reflective of the surrounding neighborhood of Takoma Park. Republic was opened by Jeff and Barbara Black, and partner, Danny Wells. Jeff and Barbara own 5 other restaurants, including, Black’s Bar and Kitchen, Black Market Bistro, BlackSalt and Fish Market, Pearl Dive Oyster Palace, and Black Jack. Alongside Danny Wells, a Takoma Park native, the team has established a great neighborhood and destination restaurant in the heart of Takoma Park.
