  • Description

Located in Hunterdon County, surrounded by lush farmland and preserved wilderness, this long-running culinary and hospitality icon started humbly as a stagecoach stop and grew into one of the countries founding farm-to-table destinations. Upon acquisition, Landmark Hospitality aimed to preserve that long history and tradition while continuing to grow its legend. A decade-long, tasteful yet intensive renovation of the property’s multiple structures has restored the grounds to their previous glory. Thoughtful repurposing of the original building materials allows the stored part of the property to be highlighted in the current design. The property’s hospitality identity shares a similar lineage connecting its past to the present. Warm, inviting spaces staffed by a caring, engaging team create landmark moments for all – whether celebrating an intimate night out or a large celebration. Renowned Executive Chef Chris Albrecht has elevated this culinary icon, maintaining the property’s lush chef’s garden; actively harvesting heirloom fruits, vegetables and herbs while continuing to pay homage to the kitchen’s long-storied history of excellence. The Ryland Inn, NJ’s most beloved restaurant, continues to welcome first-time guests and longtime regulars to enjoy our warm hospitality, contemporary cuisine, and unparalleled service.
