Inspired by New Orleans’ vibrant culinary scene, 1803 is a partnership between Chef Rafi Hasid, owner of Brooklyn’s celebrated restaurant Miriam, and Tal Lavi of Amsterdam Ale House and a longtime veteran of New York’s restaurant world. Named for the year of the infamous Louisiana Purchase, 1803 injects New York sophistication into the Spanish, French, and Cajun food traditions that lend New Orleans’ cooking its explosive flavor and sexy appeal.
