Drawing inspiration from the beautiful coastal environment, Chef Kevin Davis of La Perla Restaurant at The Cedars Inn strives to support the local food community by using as many local purveyors as possible. Using only the freshest ingredients, he creates a varied and exciting menu, changing with the seasons. La Perla’s cuisine is inspired by dishes in Spain and Latin countries all over the world. Their menu changes frequently. Menu features have included Paella (Spain), Feijoada (Brazil), Mofongo (Puerto Rico), Cochinita Pibil (Mexico), Chupe (Peruvian Seafood stew), Pinxos, Huitlacoche Hanger steak, Peruvian chicken, and ceviche (Peru and Panama). The fish specials at La Perla change depending upon what is caught locally and they are committed to serving only local sustainable seafood. The wine list is focused on the regions of their food and most of their wines hail from Spain, Chile, Argentina, and Portugal. From September to April. La Perla hosts a wine dinner on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, with generally four courses ad four wines.- Reservations
