Bourbon is a whiskey bar with a locally-inspired Cajun-Creole kitchen located just off the steps of the South Carolina Capitol Building on Main Street in Columbia, SC. Opened in the spring of 2014, we occupy one of the oldest buildings remaining on Main Street, the Brennan Building, constructed in 1869 by John Brennan. Our decor can be summed up as simply “upscale saloon”, so our dress code is casual. We have one of the largest whiskey lists in the South, with over 400 selections from Beam to Pappy, Wild Turkey to Stranahan’s, Jameson to Macallan, and everything in between. We specialize in crafted cocktails, local beers and a small, but carefully curated wine list. Our bar uses freshly squeezed juices, homemade syrups, and the best ingredients. Our chefs and bartenders have presented at Charleston Wine & Food Festival, Euphoria, and The James Beard House on multiple occasions.
