Cafe Loren opened in 1978 as Avalon’s first fine dining BYOB restaurant. Tucked away in the town’s quaint downtown area, we have happily and consistently maintained a standard of upscale service, paired with a balance of seashore elegance, and original American coastal flavors. For over four decades our menu has kept pace with culinary trends. Beginning with a heavy French culinary influence and training it has given way to our interpretation of American cuisine, a delightful compromise of styles, methods, and ingredients from around the globe.
