Open for dinner seven nights a week, Nell’s offers European-inspired New American cuisine featuring the finest Northwest seasonal ingredients. Our chef Philip Mihalski’s cooking approach unites his classic training in some of the most celebrated kitchens in New York City and France with his passion for freshness and simplicity. Since his arrival in Seattle in the early 1990’s, Philip has been a talented contributor to the success of a number of top rated restaurants, including Tom Douglas’s Dahlia Lounge and Marco’s Supperclub. In November of 1999, when Philip opened Nell’s, named after his wife, Seattle quickly embraced his distinctive interpretations of a European culinary tradition: the interplay of innovative food and fine wine. When dining at Nell’s you can choose from our current seasonal fare or enjoy our five-course tasting menu, the finest of what we offer from appetizer through dessert, at a fixed price. Nell’s menus are designed to pair beautifully with your wine selection from our large wine list. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options on request. Nancy Leson, a food critic for the Seattle Times, has called Philip’s food “exquisite.” Seattle Magazine says Nell’s is “classic and unconventional.” We say it’s cozy and relaxed.
