Mr. Baan’s Bar and Mookata is a place to gather and share unique cocktails, wine, and spirits while feasting on charcoal grilled Thai barbecue. The concept is inspired from Yotaka’s (Sunny) uncle – Mr. Baan – who is the life of the party and loves all things food and drink. Our bar highlights what we love about Thai drinking culture. Our craft cocktail menu consists of refreshing highballs and boozy, savory, and herbaceous cocktails that highlight ingredients found in the cuisines of Thailand. Get ready for an adventure! Mookata translates to “pork on a grill” and is a cook-it-yourself barbecuing experience. It consists of a domed grill surrounded by a moat of broth, which is enriched by the drippings of the meat. Our mookata set comes with various marinated meats, vegetables, eggs, and dippings sauces, and you can even add on special ingredients! The mookata experience is available by reservation or limited walk-ins.
